About this place
The Luriza Natural Reserve, located 6 km from Usiacurí, is the first protected area in the Atlantic, with more than 470,000 hectares of tropical dry forest. This ecotourism & mangrove destination is ideal for bird watching, with more than 250 species, and hiking. It is home to endemic fauna such as the endangered plants and endangered plants.
Tips: Bring binoculars, comfortable clothes and repellent. Hire a local guide. How to get there: From Barranquilla, take a bus to Usiacurí (45 min) and then a mototaxi to the reserve.
