Galapera craft tradition
A municipality renowned for its carnival tradition and the crafting of handmade masks. Galapa is the birthplace of important artisans of the Barranquilla Carnival, where zoomorphic masks carved from red ceiba wood represent the cultural fusion of the Colombian Caribbean.
